YEAR : 2018
MEASURES : 700 x 500 mm
MATERIALS : Sunlight, acid-free permanent paper

On August 9, 2018, a magnifying glass was fixed to a sketchbook at a distance of exactly 33 cm and placed in the sun. The rays passing through the magnifying glass was concentrated on the center of the sketchbook. From 10:40 am the rays burned through the layered papers of the sketchbook, leaving their mark. The movement of celestial bodies caused the burning to stop at 12:39 pm, ceasing in the point where the sun dissolves the concentrated sunrays, in relation to the magnifying glass.
