MATERIALS : 1300 vertcal incisions in existing wall
Wall Cuts is a field of vertical lines cut directly into the wall in one of the exhibition rooms of Das Weisse Haus. The cuts form a rectangular field, they are going from top to bottom and they are placed as closely as possible without overlapping each other.
The intervention creates a subtle pattern on the wall which is activated and transformed by the incoming sunlight from the windows.
