MATERIALS: Customized door handles
Glitch is a site specific work made in Atriumgården at the Library of the University of Southern Denmark. The seven doors that lead into the atrium all have identical sets of handles. One set of handles have been replaced by a 20 % downscaled version. The doors are so far apart that the visual difference between the downscaled handles and the ordinary handles is dissolved.
It is in the encounter between hand and handle that the difference is articulated and in the memory of this encounter that Glitch manifests itself.
